Hello. I have already created a action that will format the artist field with the full name of the artist with appropriate spelling. For example I put SIN in the and then use the action to replace that with SINGER NAME. I want to add another action in this action group.

There is a tat-tag button in Mp3tag interface. When set to FIELD: **TITLE** and Format String: **%\_filename%** , it changes the title value with the filename. How can I get the same result by creating an action?

If an action is created then running one action can change SIGN to SINGER NAME and title value with filename.

Any suggestion?

You have to distinguish between an
action group
and an
action.

An action group is the collection of one to many actions.
The action group has a specific name whereas an action is always of a set type.

You can add more or less any number of actions to an action group.

So if you already have an action group in which an action replaces SIN with SINGER NAME, then
Open the action group,
click on the "New" button
define the action to get the title
Click OK to save the action definition
Click OK to save the action group.

THat should be it.

Thank you for the reply. I understand. Anything more for the question -

There is a tat-tag button in Mp3tag interface. When set to FIELD:TITLE and Format String:%\_filename%, it changes the title value with the filename. How can I get the same result by creating an action?

I appreciate your efforts very much.

Apply the action "Format value".
