first of all thanks dano this is what I was looking for to do track lists for all my albums

link to topic and original export [HERE](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/10539/1)

thing is I need a little help with modifying this script to do what I need it to do. I need to be able
to export to multiple albums in bulk instead of having one single list for all albums.

each album must have its own tracklisting file

single disc albums

18 Months - Calvin Harris (2013)-\> mp3s + export file

multidisc albums

Bounce Back 2 Basics 01-\>

```
                                   cd 1
                                   cd 2
                                   export file
```

maybe it might help if you had this export to help me..

this has been modified from html\_dano album list itunes style to what it is now.
It reads each directory independently and lists it as I want it to

I just need help in getting the export to send each album to its parent folder rather than have

one long list as this does at the moment

thanks for any help in advance

I assume that you need much more than just a little help to do what you want to do.
How would you set the priority?
At first ... do you need help for writing ... HTML code ... or ... MTE code???

The current version of Mp3tag has no built in feature to write multiple export files in one run at once.
The Mp3tag mte report file accepts only one command or function $filename(...).

But there are two helper tools available, which probably can work for you ...

Try
_$filename(%\_folderpath%Tracklisting.html,utf-8)_

and in Export diaog select [x] one file per directory

Here is an example of a Mp3tag MTE export script, which is syntactically rather well formed as a Mp3tag export script and as a HTML script for a browser too.
This script does not claim to be 100 percent error-free or what you want to like better, ...
still the script might contain design quirks from your first given script.

that sort of works on multi discs it puts a tracklist in each directory .. what I need it to do is read the
parent directory and place a tracklist in the parent folder showing both disc1 and disc 2

like the screenshot

It works fine on single discs just the multi discs I am having an issue with
