# Darstellungsprobleme trotz Unicode support

Hallo

ich habe Probleme mit dem Namen: 'Israel Kamakawiwoʻole'  
Das ʻ wird trotz Unicode support als Rechteck dargestellt, siehe screenshot. ![:huh:](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/f15ee73c0fd9ec3b0db7481f0558638f8ee224ce.gif ":huh:")

Geschrieben wird der tag anscheinend korrekt, denn wenn ich Ihn kopiere und hier einfüge wird er ja wieder richtig dargestellt. Keine Ahnung wo das Problem liegt.

Tag-Einstellungen - Lesen: IDv1,APE, IDv2 - Schreiben: ID2.4

Mit dem Zeichen haben noch einige andere Programme Probleme, zB Internet/Windows Explorer, Notepad...

für alle, die im IE auch nur 1 Viereckle sehen:

es handelt sich dabei um das Unicode-Zeichen 02BB ([http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U02B0.pdf](http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U02B0.pdf))

dessen Gebrauch scheint in polynesischen Sprache wie Hawaianisch häufig zu sein ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okina](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okina))

Motto: mehr zu einem hochgerutschten Komma als Sie je wissen wollten ... 😉
