# Deleting tag v1

Hi!
I would like to leave only tag v2.3 for mp3 and to delete v1. But I can't do that. I have an mp3 with both tag v2.4 and tag v1.1. In options I choose to write only 2.3 tag and to delete all tags. But after resaving file both v1.1 and v2.4 remains. Right-clicking on mp3 and choosing delete tag, deletes both tags. What should I do to leave only v2.3 tag?

In the options below "Delete" you must only select ID3v1 then only ID3v1 tag is removed if you use "Remove tags".
