# Difference between "Tag cut" and "Remove Tag"?

I set in Options--\>Tags---\>Mpeg---\>Remove

ID3v1=YES  
ID3v2.3=NO

Now I mark a couple of songs and right click on them  
In the context menu appears  
"Tag Cut" and "Tag remove"

whats the difference?  
Which one deletes the ID3v1 header (ONLY)?

"Tag cut" copy/cut the tags of the selected tracks to the clipboard. This is useful, if you want to paste it back to the tracks in a next step.  
"Tag remove" deletes/removes the tags of the selected tracks, without the possibility to paste it back.
