# Directory name to tags

Hello,

Does anybody know how to update tags from direcory name (format: %artist% - %year% - %album%) with "Actions"?

You can use a **Guess values** action.

Action #1:  
_Action type:_ **Guess values**  
_Source format:_ **%\_directory%**  
_Guessing pattern:_ **%artist% - %year% - %album%**
