It's due to TLS 1.2 not being supported by Windows XP. See the linked topic for details:

> Are you using Windows XP by chance? Discogs disabled TLS 1.0 and 1.1 for [api.discogs.com](http://api.discogs.com), so Mp3tag no has to use TLS 1.2 for connections to [api.discogs.com](http://api.discogs.com). Unfortunately, TLS 1.2 is not supported on Windows XP, so you'd need to update your OS to use the Discogs tag source. I don't think it's a good idea still going online with windows XP. You should think about security risk.
Think about an update to Windows 10, its not as evil as many people say. 😈
If you still have some software that NEED to run on XP, you can use VirtalBox.

Another important point of view is:
Most developers does not fully support XP any more, stopped testing on XP. (don't know about Florian)
BUT: Even, most Software still runs on XP, you will get more and more problems - like your actual problem, and one day - boom - software stop working completly.

regards

After 12 years, **support for Windows XP ended** April 8, **2014**. Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for the Windows XP operating system. It is very important that customers and partners migrate to a modern operating system such as Windows 10.
...
PCs running Windows XP after April 8, 2014, are not considered secure.
