Hi,

I'm posting the most useful (imho) discogs ID tool here.
The following info is retrieved:

%artist%
%album%
%publisher% (name of label)
%catalog% (catalog number)
%mediatype% (e.g. 12" or CD)
%year%
%genre% (e.g. electronic or reggae)
%styles% (e.g. deep house or minimal)
%vinylno.% (e.g. A1 or A2 or B1, note: small glitch with 2xCDs)
%mixartist%
%title%
%track%
Edit/New: %band% (e.g. Various, note: only retrieved for albums by more than one artist)

The smoothest procedure is to copy the ID from [discogs.com](http://discogs.com) into the %comment% tag, then select the files and press Shift+Ctrl+i.
It works for Various Artists releases as well as for single artists.
Thanks to dano and snykch.
