# Discogs tags with "|" (pipe) symbols

Couldn't locate a similar report, so here goes:

Trying to get an album tag set via:

> **[Various - Greatest Ever! 80s Pop Anthems](https://www.discogs.com/Various-Greatest-Ever-80s-Pop-Anthems/release/7006701)**
>
> Label: Union Square Music - GTSTCD080,Universal Music Operations Ltd. - GTSTCD080 • Series: Greatest Ever! - GTSTCD080 • Format: 3x, CD Compilation Box Set • Country: UK • Genre: Rock, Pop • Style: Pop Rock

The first track artist is given as "M|A|R|R|S" but this is then pulled in as the first five artists "M", "A" etc. and the track offset is then mucked up, which is impossible to fix by straight forward cut/paste.
