Hi
I'm trying to download the latest version of Mp3tag v3.16 and I'm getting the following error reported; I have tried downloading on various web browsers i.e. Firefox, Edge and Chrome but I'm getting the same error on all of them. Do you have any suggestions please?

The connection for this site is not [securedownload.mp3tag.de](http://securedownload.mp3tag.de) sent an invalid response.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
ERR\_SSL\_PROTOCOL\_ERROR

Thanks Tony

could you please search the web for the ERR\_SSL\_PROTOCOL\_ERROR
I found a page that suggests the following causes in your local system:

- system time not correct
- firewall or antivirus progrm block address or the SSL connection
- the hosts file is up the spout
the SSL or browser cache hold an old certificate
- a chrome extension causes problems
- the quic protocol blocks the connection

So, a lot to investigate on your machine ... because I could download without problems.

Maybe its your VPN, if you have any?

Try running those webrowser in safe modes. For Firefox its

**"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode**

Hi many thanks for the various suggestions which I tried without success. Therefore I have reverted to a work around i.e. downloaded on another PC and copied the file across to the problem PC. Something has obviously changed on my main PC that I'm getting the problems on and I will need to investigate further. If I do discover something I'll let you know. Thanks for your help with this.
