# Editing Tags of Multiple Files using the freedb

OK I've read the FAQ on this and it wasn't very informative or helpful so hopefully someone can help me here. I have Approximately 7000 that are all showing up wierd in my Ipod due to shitty iPod organizing them by tags instead of filenames.

I want to select a large batch of files at a time, download the tags from freedb and have it automatically edit all the tags. Is this possible? Or do I have to manually do each one?

You can't do this in one step with Mp3tag.
