# Empty folder

Thank you both for the the info; I'm up and running

I by this I mean all I have to do is this:

**1]** Export ARTIST info from all files with this code

**2]** Open the list in Notepad++

**3]** Use the TextFX plugin as desrcibed in here: [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3958350...rows-in-notepad](http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3958350/removing-duplicate-rows-in-notepad)

**4]** Scroll down to the bottom of the list to see the number of individual artists

The only problem it is my third TXT editor that I have to use [for different very specific purposes]; and of course the fact that procedure is finished outside of Mp3tag. But better this than having empty folders or puting markers in them. And also, as I will use it only a few times in a year, it won't be a drag
