# Enter key as Save

Is there some setting I am missing that will allow me to save tags by just hitting the enter key?

I'm pretty sure I recall on an old version I was able to do this.

In the file view (the grid on the right) saves are automatically done whenever focus moves from any field, so they should be saved when you hit Enter. I don't believe there is a setting that changes this behavior.

In the Tag Panel, there is a setting in Options \> Tags to save when focus leaves a file. It doesn't really apply to the Enter key, though, as the Enter key doesn't do anything in the Tag Panel.
