# Export overriding $filename :(

I find the Export dialog's _Export file name_ value overrides the $filename() value in my .MTE e.g.

This is highly undesirable for me, but regardless of whether it is a bug for now, can anyone suggest a workaround that will ensure my .MTE changes are adopted? I have tried emptying _Export file name_ but then Export won't let me save.
