# \[F\] Extended Tag dialog fails to ignore post-null

Instead it shows the first post-null string as a second tag of the same name.

This is very unlikely to be changed. ID3v2 is already a great mess and I refuse to support **every** bit of nonsense from this "spec".
The problem you're referring to is a different one. Mp3tag uses the 00 character to seperate multiple entries within text frames.
