# \[F\] iTunes 'Composer' tag

Florian -

It appears as though the 'Composer' tag within iTunes is not being read by Mp3tag for M4A files.

Can you please check again ... I think it's called "Writer" for MP4 files.

Sorry, should have provided more details.

Within iTunes, I see 'Paul van Dyk' in the 'Composer' tag, however it isn't visible in either 'Writer' or in 'Composer'. In fact, when I view all the tags for that particular track I don't see 'Paul van Dyk' in any position.

Can you first try to remove the file from iTunes and add it again? If the Composer field is still visible in iTunes afterwards, I'd need a sample file to reproduce the problem.

It's just working fine here.

Sorry for the delay, the issue appears to be fixed in the latest developement build.
