# \[F\] TAB/ALT+TAB get stuck on read-only fields

Tracklist TAB/SHIFT+TAB (Go to next/prev writable field when in edit mode) don't go to the next writable field if there is one or more read-only fields in between.

It's a rather old quirk, since years ago ... try tabbing from tracks to covers to year ... tabbing stops at covers and won't go to year.

With columns:
%title% %\_filename% %artist%
if I am editing %title%, TAB goes beep rather than move to %artist% as expected.

This should be fixed with the current [Development Build](http://developer.mp3tag.de).

Not confirmed. The update addresses the test case I reported, but apparently only because it has made the previously uneditable "Value: %\_filename%" column editable. On a column that has "Value: " so to be still uneditable, the problem remains.

Please check again with attached column inifile.
It is not possible to tab over from track to year.
