# Feature Request - Add multiple files for Album Art

As of version 2.58, album art can be added to song(s) only a single file at a time. It would be convenient to be able to drag/drop or add via menu a selection of multiple files (eg, both front and back covers plus inlays in one go, rather than three or four).

Selecting all files then "Add cover" on the tag panel works for me. How are you trying to add images?

In Mp3tag you can select a bunch of media files, then open the dialog "Extended Tags..." or the "Tag Panel" and import image files into all selected media files at once, using the cover image context menu.

In Mp3tag you can define one action or a group of actions to import image files into all selected media files at once.  
In this way it is also possible to set the 'picture type'.

For example ...

**Import cover from file "'MBMT.\*.Front.jpg'" (Front Cover) Import cover from file "'MBMT.\*.Front.png'" (Front Cover) Import cover from file "'MBMT.\*.Back.jpg'" (Back Cover) Import cover from file "'MBMT.\*.Back.png'" (Back Cover) Import cover from file "'MBMT.\*.'$num(%TRACK%,2)'.\*.jpg'" (Artist)**

At first, this action group will import a jpg file; if a png file is available, then the png file will be imported.
