Hey, I'm quite the newb with mp3tag, so forgive me if this is a lame question. I've been getting this error on about 1 .mp3 per album that I try to edit the tags on. I'm using WinXP Pro, and none of the files are marked as read-only by the OS.

mp3tag asks me if I want to mark the files as editable, to which I say yes, but I continue to get the same error.

I have to go into another tag editor to actually make the changes on these .mp3's.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated

never mind. It was my own fault...most of my tags got corrupted and the file I was trying to edit was 0 bytes...
