# Filename extension

Hello
How I view the filename without extensions in the columns.
the expressions %filename% and %_filename_% don't work, the columns are blank.

%\_filename% is not available in the columns.
If you just want to view it (no renaming) you can use
_$replace(%\_filename\_ext%,.%\_extension%,)_

Please note, that the placeholder %\_extension% was introduced with the 2.32t [Development Build](http://developer.mp3tag.de).
