I have just started using Mptag and anm trying to correct the artist name spelling mistakes. How can i find part of a string and just replace that in a tag, keeping rest the same.

Example: Kishor Kumar and Lata
I want to find 'Kishor' and replace it with 'Kishore' and make the artist tag 'Kishore Kumar and lata'

Thanks

I think you need to be pointed towards the FAQ section. [Actions](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/967/4)

The problem with that method is that it deletes the original string. I have a few combinations with wrong part of the string needing to be replaced. I literally need 'Word' type of find and replace.

The is a word type find and replace action. If you search 'bananas' and put 'spanners' in the replace. Then you get 'spanners' instead of 'bananas'. It doesn't change anything else except what you search for.

Heres the action you need:

Begin Action Group **\_Script Test#TEST**

**Action #1** _Actiontype 2:_ **Replace** _Field \_\_\_\_\_\_:_ **TITLE** _Original \_\_\_:_ **Kishor** _Replace with:_ **Kishore** [X] Only as whole word[\_] Case sensitive comparison

End Action Group **\_Script Test#TEST** (1 Action)

This is the the easiest action to understand. Please take your time reading the [FAQ](https://community.mp3tag.de/c/faq-frequently-asked-questions)
