The problem with that method is that it deletes the original string. I have a few combinations with wrong part of the string needing to be replaced. I literally need 'Word' type of find and replace.

The is a word type find and replace action. If you search 'bananas' and put 'spanners' in the replace. Then you get 'spanners' instead of 'bananas'.
