# Flac files and id3 tags

Hello — Just to clarify, there was a post on the another forum about TAG and FLAC files. I think the question was can FLAC files have ID3 tags — I was not sure of the context of the question, but is it possible to gerry-rig the ID3 format/schema into a FLAC file? If so can mp3tag parse it and somehow correct it and write back the tags in “vorbis comment” format? Thanks

adding ID3 to FLAC files is / ever was a worse idea
