# Folder organization suggestion in Mp3tag

People, I would like to say first that I don't know if this has been posted by another user.
I really miss a program folder Organizer. How would that be? Basically what the Id3toFolder program does (arrange by album \> artist \> year), except that all the files that support the Mp3tag has.
Would be very happy if my request was answered, since today, in addition to download many files, they become disorganized on the computer.

MP3Tag is very flexible and can do that.
You have to read about actions, converters and the possible placeholders, eg. %\_directory%.
Example of an action:
Type: Format value
Field: \_DIRECTORY
Format String: D:\MP3s\%genre%$if2(%albumartist%,%artist%)\%year%\%album%
or of an action with the converter:
Tag - Filename
Format string: D:\MP3s\%genre%$if2(%albumartist%,%artist%)\%year%\%album%\%track% - %artist% - %title%
