# Freedb and Web Sources

### How to use a `*.src` web source file?

Copy or move the `*.src` file to the [configuration folder](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/freedb-and-web-sources/2748/4) at  
`%APPDATA%\Mp3tag\data\sources`

You can also just execute the `openSourcesDirectory.bat` file that automatically opens the correct folder. It either comes with the `*.src` file or can be downloaded from [here](https://download.mp3tag.de/OpenSourcesDirectory.zip).

You can now use the script from the Tag Sources menu or from the ![:mt_freedb:](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/9d3e06e6c9f3e2c5330912f19b06ffa59535baf3.png ":mt\_freedb:") button.
