# Freedb Problems

I am having trouble accessing freedb through mp3tag. I have increased the timeout to 15 and have checked the settings and that are exactly as listed on the freedb website:
Address Path Port
[freedb.freedb.org](http://freedb.freedb.org) /~cddb/cddb.cgi 80
I can access and search the freedb site using my browser.
mp3tag 2.40
But for some unknown reason I keep getting the message:

## Mp3tag v2.40
The server failed to return a valid query response code
* * *
## OK
I do have zone alarm installed but it is set to allow mp3tag and I can connect to amazon fine, plus the problem persists when ZA is off
Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstalling then reinstalling mp3tag fixed it.
