# Freedb

When a new CD is inserted, track-information from CD is read, but FreeDb isn't triggered automatically, has to be done manually.

It looks to me this is related to the 2.38 installed recently (nevertheless I'm not sure about this)

What might be going on ?

It has always been like that. You have to run the freedb command manually.
