# GDS Mp3tag Audio Indexer plugin

Please could someone help me to understand how this plug-in works in connection with Google Desktop. Perhaps I have not configured it correctly, but there seems to be no connection with GD or the sidebar. I appreciate the drop down mp3 tag info displayed when I hover over a music file, but I'm sure this is not the only use for this plug-in.
Can I be taught? Is there a tutorial I can read?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank-you.

It simply indexes your audio files and displays metadata information (like artist, album, titel, bitrate and length) on Google Desktop Search queries.
There are no features that are using the GDS sidebar.
