# generate random playlist based on metadata

Hi,

I would like to generate random playlist based on genre, Artist or Album metadata.  
Is their a way, through API or scripting capabilities of Mp3Tag to do that ?

Thanks for your support and this great tool which provide me a easy and ultra-quick way of managing my growing music library ...?

perhaps you can adapt some of the remarks to your requirements.
