# Genres in tag panel v2.89

Hello,

Attached are two screen shots.

The first is how I have my "Used\_Genres" displayed in 2.88.

The second is with 2.89. The default Genre now lists all the Genres in the selected files, like my "Used\_Genres" in my 2.88 configuration, but in 2.89 my "Used\_Genres" shows the usual Genre list.

So if you are using the Genre hack, the way they show the list has been swapped over in 2.89. The original Genre box remains as non-rightable, it will just show what you have.

Oh and you don't have to add your new Genre box by editing the ini file, you can add it via options panel and edit both box titles to your liking.

I think too that it is time for an alternative solution now.
