# Get custom field to show in Filter 'Field:'

You can add this new custom field to an arbitrary file via the extended tag dialog. After restarting Mp3tag it should also be listed as possible filter field.

And yes, there need to be a better way of doing this. It's on my list...

Field: as combo box would suit me fine. Ideally responding to Delete.

I'm trying to do similar in 2.41

I've loaded 7k worth of apple lossless files, I want to filter field "Encoder" by a value of "."

But I can't, even though this field is present in (most) of the files.

What am I doing wrong, please?
