and did not close the brackets ...
Well. I am getting fed up with having to repeat everything numerous times.
I would have expected a little (or is it a lot) more thoroughness
Yes. As soon as you apply the suggestion and not something completely different.

Thanks to everyone, I've reached this point!
But it's a little lacking. I want to name the folder,
[2015.05.13] - Aimer - Brave Shine (TV size) (2015) [FLAC 16B-44.1kHz]
It's not this,
[2015.05.13] Aimer - Brave Shine (TV size) [FLAC 16B-44.1kHz]
I want to change it like this. What should I do?
If you look at the top screenshot of yours then this is exactly the string that would appear if you really copied the suggestion
which adds a hypen (minus) between the transformed YEAR ant the original folder name.
Why you claim that you are missing the (2015) although it is already in the string.
If, on the other hand, you want to rename the folder completely, then tell us an EXACT name and we will see how to construct it from your tag data.
I'm sorry I didn't understand the meaning of this sentence properly.
"which adds a hypen (minus) between the transformed YEAR ant the original folder name."
And (2015) I also want to erase it.
[2015.05.13] Aimer - Brave Shine (TV size) [FLAC 16B-44.1kHz]
[2021.09.06] BAND-MAID - Sense(TV Size Ver.) [FLAC 16B-44.1kHz]
I want to make it this way.

If I do what I learned, it comes out like this.
Try Convert >Tag-Tag for _DIRECTORY
Format string: '['$replace($regexp(%year%,(.*) .*,$1),-,.)']' $regexp(%_directory%, \(\d+\),)
and watch the preview if that shows the correct result.
The format string works for folders that have not been treated yet.
A typo in the field name _DIRECTORY has crept in

PLEASE use the given Format string:
'['$replace($regexp(%year%,(.*) .*,$1),-,.)']' $regexp(%_directory%, \(\d+\),)
and carefully watch and compare character by character what you paste (you use some weird W instead of backslashes \)
Sorry I don't know why but backslash and W seem to be the same letter.
I copied as it is, but it changes to W.
Just as a test:
Could you please try to delete the last W and then Press and hold down the Alt-Key and enter the numbers 0 then 9 then 2 from your numeric numbers keypad and then release the Alt-Key.
Does the typed in character appears as W again?
You have only restarted Mp3tag and it worked?
yes. That's right. I just turned it on again without doing anything.
Because the route increased like this [2021.09.16] [2021.09.16] [2021.09.16] and I thought it would be solved if I turn it back on.
As I said:
Which means: if you apply the string several times, the date will added just as many times.
Sorry I was not used to English, but it was solved with your help Thank you very much God bless you!
