Hi,
I'm a total noob at tagging, i am having a problem with tagging a large collection of albums, i have sorted the basic data\info for them in the right places, the problem now is getting a formula to add correct album name as they have a - in them.
e.g SF-01-01-Artist-Title
everything i tried keeps seperating the SF-01 into seperate fields or wont accept my formula as valid, please could someone help with this problem

I think the only way around this is to use 2 user-defined fields to get the data extracted and then to merge them with the real ALBUM field.
So, a format string for Convert\>Filename-Tag could look like this:
`%album%-%discnumber%-%disc2%-%artist%-%title%`

After that has copied the data to fields, you can use the function
Convert\>Tag-Tag for field DISCNUMBER
Format string: `%discnumber%-%disc1%`

So, a format string for Convert\>Filename-Tag could look like this:
`%album%-%album1%-%track%-%artist%-%title%`

as the hyphen is no unique separator, you still have to use that detour:
