# Gibberish tags

I have quite a few songs with tags in cyrillic alphabet.

Some of them are displayed fine in mp3tag

while others appear like gibberish.

Any idea how I can make the gibberish ones appear normal?

There's an action codepage conversion you could use to convert the mistagged ones

Make a new action type "Convert codepage" with  
Field = \_TAG  
Codepage = Russian (1251)

Can I batch convert multiple mp3 files with this action? If yes, how can I do that?

BTW, When I tried to do the conversion, instead of text I got a whole lot of question marks (?)...
