# GNUDB instead of freedb

The tip with changing the adress of free.db in `File->Options->Tag-Sources->freedb->Adress` to [gnudb.gnudb.org](http://gnudb.gnudb.org) seems to work.

It seems their database hasn't been updated for several years.

Interesting quote:

I'm wondering how their data could be compromised, if they don't do any data check at all 😉  
Everyone can submit to gnudb whatever he/she wants.
