# Greek ISO-8859-7 tags

Greetings,

I'm the not so proud owner of a Sony Ericsson W810i walkman phone. As a Greek national I have tons of mp3 with Greek tags, encoded in ISO-8859-7 or Windows-1253 encoding. Unfortunately, my phone's music player doesn't display properly mp3 files with Greek tags, it suffers from [mojibake](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mojibake). In the options menu of Mp3tag there is an option to enable ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1.

Is there a way to have Greek tags but not Unicode tags?

No, this is not possible.
