# Help (Replacing Question)

Alright, I have a whole butt-load of files that are in the same format as this:
Memphis, Tennessee , 1962.03.08 (Teenager's Turn, Here We Go #1)
I want to get rid of everything from the first ( to the end.
How can I do that in one go?

Just use an Action:
_Action type:_ **Replace with regular expression**
_Field:_ **\_FILENAME**
_Regular expression:_ **(.+) (.\*.(.+)**
_Replace matches with:_ **$1.$2**
[] case-sensitive comparison
