How can I add a long hyphen in the filename field to a list of files. Files have a predecessor id that varies from file to file

Hello, I hope you are well

I have a question for you, I hope you can help me. How can I add a character in the filename field to a long list of files whose ID always varies?

For example, I have something like:

2019-01-01 [v=aaabbbcccmmm] name of a file.mp4
2019-02-05 [v=222bbbcccmmm] another name of a file.mp4
2020-04-11 [v=777bdbcccmmm] yes another name.mp4
2020-04-20 [v=a5abbbccc3mm] the name you want.mp4
2020-04-21 [v=aarbbbcrcmmm] Mary had a little lambm.mp4

And I just want to add a long dash (—) to it right after that code. So the above should look like this:

2019-01-01 [v=aaabbbcccmmm] — name of a file.mp4
2019-02-05 [v=222bbbcccmmm] — another name of a file.mp4
2020-04-11 [v=777bdbcccmmm] — yes another name.mp4
2020-04-20 [v=a5abbbccc3mm] — the name you want.mp4
2020-04-21 [v=aarbbbcrcmmm] — Mary had a little lamb.mp4

after ] then a space then — then space and finally the name of the video

Maybe there is some function in mp3 like:

REPLACE
[v=*] * .mp4

BY
[v = *] — * .mp4

?

There are a lot of files so I need a way to do it in bulk, instead of adding that script file by file.

Any help is appreciated

Use an action of the type "Replace" for _FILENAME (probably you have to type it in)
Search string: ]
Replace string: ] —

Or use Convert>Filename-Filename
Source mask: %1] %2
Target mask: %1] — %2

Thank you, ohrenkino, but
I don't understand what you meant by this:

Now I am puzzled:
You don't understand that there is a function Convert>Filename-Filename
or the further parameters?

Are you even using Mp3tag, i.e. the piece of software this forum is all about?

Sorry, the further parameters. What I don't understand is that about "Source mask" and "Target mask" and the% percentages. Where do I find that option within mp3tag? and what do I do with that. I don't know how to apply this that you wrote to me.

As I said:

If you have further questions about that function, it would be best to have a look at the help:

There, the mystery of

will be revealed.
