# How can I reset defaults for tags?

I created a default Artist for one set of albums, and then for another set I changed to another default Artist. When I select multiple files, the list box for Artist includes both the old default and the new default, but the default in the list box is the old default (maybe because it comes before the new one alphabetically). I don't suppose you can reproduce this.
I want to reset all the defaults so I can put in just the new one. I found an old post that said that defaults can be removed by scanning the registry, but I can't find the defaults in the registry.
How can I make mp3tag forget all the default tag values?

You can remove them from the list by pressing [Shift+Del].
You might also want to download the latest [Development Build](http://developer.mp3tag.de) as it fixes the behaviour you've described above.
