# How can I use "Path to Album" to automatically set the Album tag?

I'm trying to organize my music files in Mp3tag and I would like to use the **Path to Album** function.

There is no function named like that in MP3tag - was this something that an AI hallucinated?
To retrieve information from the path, see the documentation:

please have a close look at the variable `%dummy%` to leave out data that you do not need.
If you have further questions, please supply a real path and tell us which part should become the data in ALBUM.
