How do I get the DnD behavior of 2.37a in 2.38?

Hello,

Is it possible to have all files in a directory loaded into the file view, instead of just the ones that were dragged and dropped? That was the behavior in 2.37a.

I am aware of the context menu registry hack (/t/4815/1 but I do not use the shell ext, and I looked at the Options dialog and found no way to configure it.

I was wanting this too - I think I am going back to 2.37 until someone can help.

There's currently no way. You must drag a directory.

As little workaround, you can make Mp3tag load the directory when you double click on a file in the file list:
