# How to access text in a long tag called "Lyrics"

Newbie question & I apologize for not being able to find the answer elsewhere.
Files I download from BBC Sounds contain a tag called "lyrics"
I would like the contents (of this long text tag) to appear in the MP3Tag grid (so I can copy/paste bits of info from it into Composer field).
Here's a screenshot showing the tag list (from Windows Explorer) and specimen contents of the Lyrics tag for one file.

Check the extended tags dialogue Alt-T for the name of that field (e.g. LYRICS).
Use that name for `Field` and `Value` %lyrics% if you define a new column in the file list

If you want to add the display of that field also to the tag panel as there you can set it to be a multi-line field which may be easier to read, use LYRICS instead of %lyrics% as field name.

Please note that LYRICS would be a user-defined field. The standard field supported by MP3tag would be UNSYNCEDLYRICS for lyrics without time code.
