# How to batch replace the double-backslash \\\\ in a field with a usable character?

Hi all!

I'm trying to batch replace all instances of `\\` in the Artist field with ~

I see how to batch replace characters generally using Convert Tag - Tag

eg. $replace(%artist%,&,~) replaces & with ~ in the Ariist field,

but trying to replace `\\` in the same way just results in the \ being removed along with all text after it.

Filtering the files shown with %artist% HAS `\\` shows no files.

Is there a way to sort this out?
