# How to copy Album/Artist name

Hello,
I'm new to mp3tag.
Could you please tell me how to simply copy Artist or Album name to several tracs without changing file name?
Is it possible to copy Artist name within the column?
For example I put in first file artist name as AAA and then I want to copy it to all 20 files that are below in the list.
Is it possible to simple drag and copy - like in excell file?
I will appreciate your kind support.

A little different approach.
Select the 20 files in the files list.
Enter the artist name and/or album name in the tag panel on the left.
Press Ctrl-S to save the changes.
The columns in the files list should fill with the data.
