# How to replace the Title tag with filename w/o extension?

Hi,

I would like to set the title tag with the file name without the extension. This needs to be done to a large number of files. Is there a way (like an action) to accomplish this with Mp3tag v2.41?

Action: Format value  
Field: TITLE  
Format string: %\_filename%

or

Action: Guess values  
Source format: %\_filename%  
Guessing pattern: %title%

or

Filename - Tag button on the toolbar  
Format string: %title%
