# How to shift data from one tag field to another on the same file

Well basically i started using a new player, which uses the _comment_ tag to display description. So basically i would like to batch convert my whole librarys _description_ tag to the _comment_ tag but keep it on the same file. Is there a way to do this in mp3tag or any other program? Thanks in advance.

You can use **Convert → Tag - Tag** for `COMMENT` using `%description%` as format string.
