# How to show the kind of tag(s) included in a file?

Hi,

is there a possiblity to show the kind of tags stored in a file (e.g. APE, ID3v1, ID3v3, UTF-8, UTF-16 etc).

I have got a new media streamer that shows/supports only some of my file with tags. So i would like to find out, which is the right one. Mp3Tag offers a lot of different types to store, delete...

Usually there is a tag column in the file view.

But you can also create one at "View \> Customize columns":  
Name: Tag  
Value: %\_tag\_read%[(%\_tag%)]
