# How to sort on two column?

is it possible to have a double column to sort the files ? i wish to order the list by Album then by track

In your case: first click on the column header for TRACK, then on the column header for ALBUM

You can set the "Sort by" field in the [column customization](https://docs.mp3tag.de/customization/file-list/#editing-columns):
Example for **Sort by** :
`%album%$num(%track%,2)`
Or you can manually sort by the first column, then by the second column.
Simply click on the column headers to sort the data in ascending order. Click again to sort the data in descending order.
