Hi,

is there a way to get Windows 10 File Explorer ratings into mp3tag?

I've already created a new tag and column for rating using the POPULARIMETER settings as discussed in other threads, but it's not picking up the File Explorer ratings.

Thanks

What type of files are you rating? It should work for mp3 files. Check the extended tags dialogue if you have a different field like "Rating Wmp".
See also the help on POPULARIMETER:

> **[Tag Field Mappings – Mp3tag Documentation](https://docs.mp3tag.de/mapping/#popularimeter)**
>
> Overview of all available tag fields, their names in Mp3tag, and how they are mapped to the internal structures of the different tag formats. Mp3tag is the universal Tag Editor.

Sorry, should have said it's for video files (mp4's).

In reading many other threads it doesn't seem like this is possible.
