Is there something in mp3 tag settings that will allow me to see the current id ag?

Have your tried the extended tags dialogue Alt-T

the current id tag\* sorry, bad typing... i just want to see the id tag... the last tagging program i had showed me the id tag just by putting the cursor over the file
